Clean Glasses a MUST!

Clean Glasses a MUST!

I don’t care what anyone says (I agree to disagree), but I am a stickler when it comes to drinking wine from clean glasses. I’m still getting over my paper dixie cup experience from my previous post on San Antonio Winery.  People, whatever happened to “first impressions”?  Have you ever been served a glass of wine in a spotty wine glass? EEK!  UGH. That is one of my biggest pet peeves.  My attention is immediately drawn to the spots or the residue on the glass and I cant properly focus on the wine about to be treated ever so special and tasted as it is meant to be.  If you ever catch me serving you a taste or glass of wine in a spotty glass, please, shoot me.  It’s all part of the experience!  Nice, crystal glasses make the experience all the more better. I was fortunate to inherit some nice Maxima crystal red and white wine glasses from a friend clearing out a storage unit who knew I was a wino and they no longer drank and therefore had no need for them.  I was given 4 boxes, each of 4 wine glasses.  2 boxes are for white wine and the other 2 for red wine.  I have gotten more use out of these glasses than you could ever imagine.  They are such a treat to drink wine from and to serve guests from. As soon as I wash them, they are immediately hand dried with a paper towel to get rid of those hideous spots.  Maybe there is a remedy out there that I am unaware of. If anyone has any great tips, please forward them to me!
